Mondomarine’s 'Alexander Two' splashes...

Industry News

This semi-displacement 41m (135ft) is Mondomarine’s second launch of the year and its 56th thus far. She is seen here mid-June, just prior to hitting the water; Diego Deprati, boss of the Savona, Italy yard, delivered the appropriate words before she was lowered into the water.

JUNE 2009

The Alexander Two concept and interior are the work of Cor D Rover and her walnut and radica interior is by Luca Dini Design. Powered by a pair of 2,255hp MTUs, she is capable of a maximum speed of 19 knots and a cruise speed of 17 knots. Her range at a more sedate 12 knots would be around 3,000-plus nautical miles.
Later this summer will see Mondomarine deliver its third ’09 project Streamline 2, a full-displacement 50m (164ft) project.
