JUNE 2009
The 34.50m (113ft) semi-displacement motoryacht has a beam of 6.95m (22ft 9in) and a draft of 1.55m (5ft 1in). Her shallow draft will allow access many otherwise inaccessible waters and berths. She displaces 124.5 tonnes and is built to RINA and MCA requirements. Powered by twin 1,825hp Caterpillar C32 V12 diesels, she delivers a cruising speed of 18 knots and a peak speed of 23 knots.
As her predecessors, Cipitouba II is equipped with zero-speed stabilizers.
The model was designed by René van der Velden in association with naval architect Van Oossanen & Associates. The first two Cyrus 33s, but the model was adapted for numbers three and four and the length and designation pushed up to 34.
A fifth Cyrus 34 is currently under construction ‘on spec’. She is scheduled to complete for 2010.
The yacht features four full-width double-bed cabins with en-suites and can accommodate up to six crew. The owner’s cabin has a separate entrance accessible via a private staircase in the salon, while another staircase is reserved for the two guest cabins on the lower deck. The VIP guest cabin is located on the main deck and offers ample space and a stunning view, thanks to the wide windows that surround and enclose this considerable large area.
Cipitouba II features a light contemporary Anigré interior.
