Mulder Shipyard close to delivering Eleonore...

The Theo Werner-designed classic motoryacht is intended to family cruise in the shoal waters off the North Holland and Northwest German coasts.
MAY 2009
The Mulder Shipyard in Voorschoten, The Netherlands, has handed over the all-steel round-bilged 23.7m (77ft) motoryacht Eleonore. This traditional-style beauty left the yard in mid-June.
Designed by Theo Werner, she has a beam of 5.80m (19ft) and a draught of just 1.3m (4ft 3in), which is important for the owners and family who want to use her to explore the shoal waters around the many islands that string between Den Helde in the far north of Holland, round the north-west corner of Germany, to Denmark.
Thanks to twin 320hp Caterpillar C7s spinning 30in (76cm) diameter five-blade props, should deliver an 11-knot cruise and maximum speed just over 12 knots.
She also sports fin stabilizers.
She was fabricated at the Frisian Shipyard in Lemmer, the Netherlands, before being towed to the Mulder Shipyard for fit-out with her cherry interior. She delivered with Shipping Inspectorate and Lloyd's SSC certificates.
Employing around 50, the Mulder Shipyard specialises in semi-custom and custom projects. Its capacity runs from 15-30m (50-100ft). It should deliver a total of five boats during '09 and three more for 2010.
