Mondomarine’s 'Toy-A' was designed inside and out by Giorgio Vafiadis...

Industry News

This all-aluminium semi-displacement 49.2m (161ft) is the Italian yard’s first launch of ’09 and its 55th to date. She was lowered into the water in late May.

May 2009

Being conceived principally for Mediterranean use, much attention has gone into outdoor areas.
She provides a lounge and dining room on her main deck and a sky-lounge on the deck. Her owner’s suite is located on the main deck; then there is a VIP cabin on the upper deck and four guest cabins on the lower deck.
Powered by twin 2,735hp MTUs, Toy-A is capable of a maximum speed of 20 knots.
By the end of the summer ’09 Mondomarine will have launched two more projects ‒ Alexander Two, a semi-displacement 41m (135ft), and Streamline 2, a full-displacement 50m (164ft).
Work is also underway at the Savona yard on a new shed that allow the yard to work on even bigger projects. It could cope simultaneously with two projects of up to 65m (213ft).
