The 56m aluminium ketch 'Riela' was designed by Ron Holland in association with the operation’s in-house team and sports a Remi Tessier interior.

Saturday April 25, '09 saw Perini Navi launch the beautiful black-hulled SY Riela. The aluminium 56m (184ft) ketch is the Italian/Turkish operation’s 46th sailing superyacht. She has an optimised maximum displacement of 545 tons. Both masts, the 58.8m (193ft) main mast and the 48.3m (158ft) mizzen, are aluminium, while the furling booms are carbon fibre. The total sail area is expected to reach 1,500 square-metres (16,140 square-feet).
The work of Remi Tessier, her interior fuses macassar, ebony, wengè, teak veneers with leather.

SY Riela is the seventh 56m (184ft) sailing yacht launched by Perini Navi. The first was Burrasca, which launched in ’03. Then came Santa Maria (now Zenji), Rosehearty, Selene, Salute and Silvana. Moreover, over the next 24 months another three units 56m (184ft) Series units are scheduled to deliver.
Plus the order book includes two 45m (148ft) steel sailing yachts, a 38m (125ft) in Sealium aluminium, one 59m (194ft) steel sailing yacht and two motoryachts, a 50m (164ft) and a 55m (180ft) in the new ‘Picchiotti-Vitruvius’ series.
