Long trip to Pendennis...
Nostromo’s mast has a challenging journey on the winding roads to Falmouth, Cornwall. The Complete Freight transporter had to cover the last half mile in reverse!

On behalf of Hall Spars, UK-based Complete Freight, a specialist when it comes to moving large objects such as boats and spars, recently delivered the longest mast yet to be transported by road into the Pendennis Shipyard in Falmouth, Cornwall, UK. The 40.5m (133m) spar is for the yard's 30m (98ft) Dubois-designed Nostromo sloop, which delivers this summer. The lorry that delivered it had to navigate some very tight turns on her way there. Indeed for the last half mile the had to drive backwards!
