APRIL 2009

JFA Chantier Naval of Concarneau, France, recently launched an all-aluminium 27.5m (90ft) motorsailer designed by Joubert-Nivelt-Goeffers and with an oak/walnut interior by Rhoades Young. The project, which began in late ’06, will be topped off by carbon main and mizzen masts.
She is pushed along by twin 285hp Cummins diesels and carries 16,000 litres of fuel. Her full-load displacement is 115 tons and her draught is 2.8m (9ft 2in)
She will be named upon handover, which takes place after her sea-trials are complete.
She is Lloyd’s and MCA compliant.
