Heesen launches ‘Lady L’...
She’s YN15944, previously known as ‘Project Zentric’.
Oss, Holland-based Heesen Yachts launched Lady L on January 13. This 44m all-aluminium motoryacht was originally started ‘on spec’, but ended up just two months short of her launch being the third of four new contracts signed during 2011. The deal with a Russian client was brokered by Nakimov Yachts. She is the eighth in the '44m Aluminium' series. Her yard number is YN15944.
MY Lady L is capable of up to 25 knots, thanks to twin 2,720kW 16V4000 M90 MTUs, careful weight management and an efficient hull form.
Frank Laupman and his Omega Architects studio designed the exterior and her Art Deco-influenced interior. But Dobroserdov Design was involved in specifying her two-tone colour scheme – the hull is a dark blue and dark grey combo.
Ten guests can be accommodated in five cabins. The full-beam master suite is situated on the main deck and includes a study and full-beam his-and-her marble bathroom. Two doubles and two twins are located on the lower deck.
