As for dimensions, This slender-hulled cat’s got an LOA of 31m (101ft 8in), a maximum beam of 15m (49ft 3in) and a height of 7.5m (24ft 7in). The really clever bit relates to her 500m² (5,400ft²) of photovoltaic solar panels!
The project was initiated by Raphaël Domjan, who will captain the vessel on a circumnavigation; the aim is to be the first boat to circle the globe using solar power. The project backer is Immo Ströher.
